Vacant position of the LJAG treasurer – Are you interested?

Dear all,
We are delighted to say that the ‘We are Loughborough Junction’ exhibition of portraits of some of you around LJ is going ahead on the week-end of 13 and 14 February (funded by LJAG and SE5 Forum), but the vacancy of the LJAG treasurer (temporari ly kindly  filled by Trista) means that if we don’t find a volunteer to help out with that role quickly, we won’t be able to fund future art projects and events in the area.
This is a real shame as the Council is keen to give us the funds to do lots of interesting things, and there are already very creative ideas being considered for the bridges, but we need your help to make it happen, so please come forward to help out as treasurer/co- treasurer.
We’re not asking for a lot of time, definitely not more than one hour every two weeks keeping track of the very few cheques that we write.
We very much look forward to hearing from you!
Elise.

The Loughborough Junction Forum is a grassroots organisation set up by local people to provide all members of the community with a way to improve the Loughborough Junction area. It is intended that it provides eyes, ears and a collective voice for the community. All participants are invited to provide accounts of what they see happening within the area and to share their concerns and ideas with the forum so that they can be collated and channelled to the relevant authorities.

  1. I would be keen to help if you haven’t found someone.
