Get writing with the Junction Writers’ group: first meeting Wednesday 19 June

If you love to write, join us for the new bimonthly Junction Writers’ group. Whether you are published or yet-to-be published, fulfilling a lifelong dream or just looking for a creative pastime, this group is for you. Bring along some of your writing to share, or come along to get inspiration from others. The focus will be on fiction, but poets are also welcome.

Meetings will be held at the SIA Community Arts café (under the arches), opposite Loughborough Junction rail stationevery first and third Wednesday of the month, 6.30-8.30pm. First meeting: 19th June. Loughborough Junction is 15 minutes’ walk from Brixton or Camberwell, and can be reached by buses 35, 45, 345 and P4. The group is free but please support the café by buying refreshments. All welcome. For more information, contact Kate at junctionwriters@hotmail.co.uk or just turn up.

The Loughborough Junction Forum is a grassroots organisation set up by local people to provide all members of the community with a way to improve the Loughborough Junction area. It is intended that it provides eyes, ears and a collective voice for the community. All participants are invited to provide accounts of what they see happening within the area and to share their concerns and ideas with the forum so that they can be collated and channelled to the relevant authorities.
